Axelot automates Logistics Orient customs warehouse

2024: Axelot WMS Rollout

The introduction of AXELOT WMS allowed the Logistics Orient customs warehouse to implement end-to-end automatic control of the number of the cargo customs declaration of goods. Axelot (Axelot) announced this on September 19, 2024.

LOGISTICS ORIENT Group of Companies is a market representative for organization of container processing, execution of full 3PL operations in logistics, warehouse real estate class A. The company also provides 3PL services for the distributor of Nestle products in Uzbekistan and is engaged in storage and customs clearance of goods coming from abroad.

In order to automate key business processes and improve the efficiency of customs warehouse management in Tashkent, LOGISTICS ORIENT decided to implement AXELOT WMS. The area of ​ ​ the object is 5,000 sq.m. Earlier, the LOGISTICS ORIENT warehouse was automated, but over time, the capabilities of the previous system became insufficient to meet all business needs.

One of the key goals of the implementation of AXELOT WMS was to organize the process of customs clearance of products coming from abroad.

AXELOT WMS implemented a special workplace "Customs clearance" for customs operations in accordance with the legislation of Uzbekistan. The functionality allows warehouse employees during acceptance to match the capitalized goods and the number of the cargo customs declaration (GTE). All subsequent activities in AXELOT WMS are carried out with these analytical parts, which allows you to both comply with different regulatory requirements and present the change history with the required degree of detail.

Earlier, the goods were accepted at the customs warehouse manually, and for further identifications personnel marked the goods, indicating the number of the receipt document, the owner of the goods and the batch. Operations are now performed using mobile collection terminals, and data all necessary information information about the product is stored in AXELOT WMS, including the history of movements and responsible transaction executors.

LOGISTICS ORIENT warehouse management uses AXELOT WMS and as a tool to increase motivation, taking into account the actual development of specific performers to calculate the variable part of the reward. The system calculates the bonus based on the number and type of tasks performed.

The project team used Datareon Platform to integrate AXELOT WMS with the corporate information system. With the implementation of AXELOT WMS, logistics business processes in the LOGISTICS ORIENT warehouse have become transparent. The system allows you to track and control all operations, from the acceptance of goods that came from abroad to shipment to customer stores. AXELOT WMS helped LOGISTICS ORIENT improve the quality of the service provided, speed up operations, and eliminate errors due to the human factor.
