Software products are developing rapidly, updates are regularly released. Reducing time to market and meeting market needs in a timely manner becomes a necessity. One way to solve this problem is to speed up the testing process using autotests.

During the project in Rosbank, together with Diasoft, a comprehensive auto-testing solution was created for recording and performing auto-tests. It was the result of a joint development: Diasoft specialists created autotests for the accounting system, and Rosbank specialists created autotests for the integration part with external systems, ensuring the integration of this autotest solution into the bank's release cycle.

During the projects, we conducted a survey, identified several areas in which improvements are needed, developed autotests, and also trained specialists from Rosbank and Metallinvestbank to create autotests on their own. Important results of our joint work with banks were a reduction in the time of regression testing, said Ivan Starilov, head of the Diasoft functional and integration auto testing service.

Together with Diasoft, the development of a framework for recording and performing autotests in the complex integration landscape of Rosbank gave us a powerful tool for transferring manual regression test cases to automated ones, which will ultimately significantly speed up the regression testing process. Importantly, autotests on the developed framework are recorded by specialists from Rosbank teams, noted Andrei Soldatov, Head of IT Product Implementation at ROSBANK PJSC.

Autotesting the software helps shorten the testing time and speeds up the introduction of new products to the market.
