In September 2023, Yaroslav Glazov was appointed First Deputy Minister of Health. Previously, Glazov worked as deputy director for medical affairs at the Blood Center of the FMBA of Russia.

Telegram channel "Ask Rasul" reports that Yaroslav Glazov is the brother of the deputy of the People's Assembly of the Republic of Dagestan Kirill Glazov, who worked with Sergei Melikov in the Federation Council and went to the People's Assembly of Dagestan on the list. The authors of the Telegram channel do not exclude that the appointment to a new position will be the first step for him to the post of Minister of Health of Dagestan.

2024: Appointment as Head of the Ministry of Health of Dagestan

At the end of August 2024, Yaroslav Glazov headed the Ministry of Health of Dagestan. He replaced Tatyana Belyaeva, who headed the department since December 2020.

In early September 2024, Yaroslav Glazov presented some results of the work of the Ministry of Health of Dagestan from 2021. For three years, 190 were overhauled and 15 medical institutions were reconstructed, 6 of which are facilities in 2024. For two, the construction is almost completed, for 4 objects the percentage of construction is from 45 to 90 (by the beginning of September 2024).

In addition, 104 prefabricated modular structures (BMK) were purchased, 1791 units of new equipment were purchased and put into operation, 516 units of sanitary vehicles were delivered.

For 2025, under this program, it is planned: reconstruction of 2 and overhaul of 75 buildings of medical organizations, installation of 36 BMKs, purchase of 746 pieces of equipment for retrofitting and re-equipment of medical organizations providing primary health care; purchase of 171 units of special vehicles.
