2024: Optimizing the online store

The federal chain of pharmacies "Rigla" improved the work of the online store and integrated new functions that made it possible to increase the stability and performance of the site, increase customer loyalty and conversion. The project was provided by LACHESTRY, which it announced on October 15, 2024.

The project team developed a new infrastructure needed to scale the site, reduced page loading time, and implemented a number of important technical solutions:

  1. Prepare your IT infrastructure and migrate. An infrastructure audit was carried out and a seamless dispatch was developed through Ansible and Jenkins, which made it possible to speed up the introduction of new functionality.
  2. Refactoring modules. For six months, the root modules of the online store were refactored, which multiply accelerated page loading, improved interaction with mobile applications and third-party services.
  3. Integration with EMIAS. The introduction of a program for online orders of prescription and preferential drugs allowed users to scan QR codes of electronic prescriptions and order drugs through the site and application.
  4. Express delivery mechanism: Integration with courier services, a fiscal system and an order processing center has been implemented, which made it possible to deliver orders from pharmacies within three hours.
  5. Extended loyalty program . A system based on the Mindbox platform was introduced, which enabled users to save and spend points in all sales channels, and the marketing department to conduct targeted mailings and promotions.
  6. The mechanism of the wave shipment of goods allowed customers to see when the missing goods will appear in the pharmacy, which increased the number of orders and increased the conversion.

Our goal in the project was to create a technological foundation for the further growth and improvement of the Rigla service. The mechanisms implemented - from integration with EMIAS to express delivery - helped to optimize key business processes and increase the efficiency of interaction with customers. These steps gave the customer the tools to respond more flexibly and quickly to market needs,
noted Director of Marketing and Sales of LACHESTRY Dmitry Feduleev.
