The Energomash System holding company implements software of three-dimensional modeling

The Energomash System holding company, for equipment of the engineering center implemented the three-dimensional modeling system KOMPAS-3D.

Plans and types

The engineering center performs works on design, a commissioning and service maintenance of a utilities equipment, pipelines and metalwork. The KOMPAS-3D system will be used at design of products from sheet metal, load-carrying structures of heattechnical units and construction objects.

Implementation

At the initial stage the pilot period of operation was performed. During this time by means of the KOMPAS-3D system gas flues and air ducts of boilers for branch of the large Russian producer of food and food ingredients are designed. Three-dimensional modeling allowed to create configuration of the complete layout chart of elements of gas flues on an object, to provide and exclude possible disagreements of elements. Based on three-dimensional models in a short time design documentation according to which the plant made products was issued.

Opinion

The design engineer Sergey Igorevich Starostenko noted advantages of KOMPAS-3D: "Three-dimensional parametrical parts of boxes, branches are during this time developed for gas flues, the service platform, ladders which are included in basic library of elements of saturation of the sector of metalwork. Now we can execute much quicker configuration of new subjects to design".
