2024: Axelot WMS Implementation

The introduction of AXELOT WMS allowed the online store KSLux to automate warehouse operations, calculate the rate of production of warehouse personnel and differently monitor the performing discipline. This was announced on November 7, 2024 by representatives of AXELOT.

As reported, the KSLux online store is actively developing and expanding its range of products. In order to quickly respond to changes in demand, quickly replenish stocks and ensure the optimal level of service for its customers, the management of the online platform decided to automate the warehouse and implement AXELOT WMS.

The logistics complex, from which goods are sent to customers of the online store and to the counters of KSLux outlets, is located in Tashkent. In total, it includes five warehouses, including a street storage area with a total area of 15,000 sq.m. The entire assortment of KSLux is processed here - about 40,000 items of goods.

The project covered all storage areas, so AXELOT specialists needed to take into account the differences in processes in different physical warehouses and reflect them in the general installation of AXELOT WMS.

So, for example, the putaway "Lazat" is carried out after the standard conversion, and for the rest - only after the "customs acceptance." Customs acceptance takes place as follows: goods are unloaded, carriers are formed in accordance with warehouse storage standards, after which the representative of the customs service gives permission for acceptance.

In almost all warehouses, placement occurs in whole pallets, the exception is the shelf rack area, where AXELOT WMS plans to place a new product to exactly the same one, but already stored on the site. There are also nuances in the selection processes. For each physical warehouse, the system forms a separate shipment order, at all sites there is a selection as things, and boxes. Selection from the warehouses "MDF" and "Laminate," where the goods are stored in stacks, is configured according to the LIFO principle, this allows you to plan the task for selection from the nearest pallet, not to look for the goods somewhere in the depth of the stack.

KSLux also ships product samples from its warehouses, which are then sent to retail outlets. AXELOT WMS implements the process of replenishing the "Sampling Area." When a "special order" appears for one piece, the system plans to take samples from the zone for it, so that warehouse employees do not open entire packages.

The integration loop, which included the customer's corporate information system and AXELOT WMS, was created using the DATAREON Platform tools. With tuned exchange, an optimal data rate has been achieved, which allows you to maintain the identity of information in systems and It is suitable for solving various tasks: from operational to managerial level. As a result of the implementation of AXELOT WMS, key KSLux warehouse processes were not just automated. Within the framework of the project, it was possible to optimize placement of goods taking into account their characteristics and peculiarities of storage organization at different physical sites. The accuracy and speed of operations were optimized, the likelihood of errors in the shipment of goods to customers was reduced.

The AXELOT WMS system has become a tool that helps the KSLux warehouse run smoothly even during peak loads by automatically scheduling tasks based on up-to-date inventory status, location, and cargo handling requirements.
