Construction of TETRA network for the Olympic Games-2014: a half of a way is passed

The Tetrasvyaz company (on behalf of RadioTel Ltd), the federal operator of services of a professional radio communication, announces an exit to the final stage of the main construction and installation works planned in volume of the second stage of construction of network of a professional radio communication of the TETRA standard for the Olympic Games-2014. Coordination of construction of network is performed by Federal Communications Agency (Rossvyaz) and the Olympstroy state corporation according to the Program of construction of Olympic venues and development of the city of Sochi as mountain resort.

From May to December, 2010 the Tetrasvyaz company on section Anapa - Adler performed installation and construction works on 37 base stations and 1 TsKU. It is nearly a half from the total number of stations of future network. Objects are handed over to the customer builder without notes. "Construction of TETRA network is conducted using modern technologies, a difficult technique and the latest equipment, - the president of Tetrasvyaz company Alexander Moldavanov notes. - All works are performed with proper quality and is strict according to the schedule approved by the state controlling organizations". The closing stage of the second stage will include construction 12 BS and 1 switches on section Adler - Krasnaya Polyana. The end of construction works on all objects of TETRA network is planned for 2012. The network under construction will become one of the largest in Eastern Europe and will cover all objects which will be involved during the Olympic Games, key thoroughfares of the Black Sea coast and also the Krasnodar-Dzhubga direction. Based on network communication services, data transmissions and monitoring for the benefit of authorities, law enforcement agencies, emergency services and commercial users will be provided.
