2024: Introduction of Axelot WMS X5

Within the framework of the ICE HOUSE warehouse automation project, AXELOT specialists set up the system to record more than 50 types of various services for customers, taking into account both the customer's requirements and the peculiarities of the 3PL services market in Armenia. Axelot announced this on December 11, 2024.

Since 2014, the Armenian logistics 3PL operator ICE HOUSE has been providing a full range of logistics services and offers multi-temperature conditions for storing any food products and raw materials. The company has a warehouse complex in Yerevan with a capacity of 1,500 paletomests and a total area of ​ ​ 5000 square meters. m, adapted for dry and refrigerated storage. The complex is equipped with the most modern equipment, every day at least 400 tons of products are processed on it. Previously, the warehouse was not automated.

In order to be able to keep records of warehouse operations and strictly rate all services provided to partners, ICE HOUSE management decided to automate the warehouse and turned to AXELOT with the following tasks:

• Increase the accuracy of warehouse operations
• increase the efficiency of storage space use;
• implement automatic recording of operations performed in the warehouse and their parameters in such a way that operations are classified by the types of services provided and it is possible to use automatic charging;
• systematize the approaches to the organization of warehouse cargo processing for various customers.

AXELOT WMS was chosen for implementation, the functionality of which ideally suited the customer's requests, and also made it possible to configure business processes for each adjuster.

ICE HOUSE distinguishes from competitors a very wide range of services provided to buyers. Therefore, during the system setup process, the emphasis was placed on the ability to record all types of services provided in the required sections and adapt the WMS reporting forms to the level of detail used by the customer. This made it possible to simplify the calculation process and make it more transparent for both the operator and the adjuster.

Thanks to automation, ICE HOUSE was able to increase the level of service, guaranteeing customers an individual approach - the list of services and charging can be fine-tuned to the individual needs of the client.

AXELOT WMS helps to control the composition of incoming products and determine discrepancies. Thanks to the implementation of AXELOT WMS in the ICE HOUSE warehouse, targeted storage is organized in accordance with temperature conditions and individual needs of the controllers. The workload on employees has been reduced, overall labor productivity has been increased due to automation of routine processes, a traceable process of provision and registration of services has been built, which guarantees transparency of mutual settlements.
