"PC Transport Systems" delivered five single-section trams "Lion Cubs" to Saratov

2024: Delivery of five trams of the 71-911YeM model "Lion cub

The company "Transport Systems PC" ("TS PC") fulfilled the contract for the supply of five trams of the model 71-911YeM "Lion cub" for Saratov as part of an agreement State transport with the "leasing company." Trams were transferred to the city until November 30, 2024. The update transport in Saratov is taking place within the framework of the national program "Safe Quality Roads" (BKD). Active support for the development of electric transport of Saratov is provided by the chairman. This State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin was reported to "PC Transport Systems" on December 2, 2024.

Tram 71-911YeM "Lion Cub" has a low floor. The smooth tram travel is provided by a low-floor trolley developed by "PC Transport Systems," and the ergonomic interior of "Lion Cub" is made using aluminum alloys, which makes it not only durable, but also fire-safe.

The car has four doorways - two single-leaf at the edges and two double-leaf in the central part of the car. Moreover, in the central part, one of the doors is equipped with a hinged ramp for people with limited mobility. In addition, the doors are equipped with an active safety edge system that prevents them from closing and starting traffic if a passenger is in the doors.

Also, "Lion Cub" is equipped with a passive safety system, thanks to which, in the event of an accident, the impact force is distributed throughout the car, which minimizes possible health risks for both the driver and passengers.

The tram cabin is equipped with USB connectors for recharging mobile devices. Five sockets for two sockets are located on the handrails. Another one is on one of the cabin panels. Also, the car is equipped with internal and external video surveillance cameras. They are displayed in such a way as to fully control the road situation not only in front, but also on the sides and at the back of the tram. Salon "Lion Cub" is also completely under video surveillance. For the convenience of the driver, the most commonly used buttons are placed on the armrests.

For the comfort of passengers, the tram provides a climate control system and a media complex. At the beginning and at the end of the car, special monitors are installed under the ceiling. They show the route, as well as the time and distance to the next stop. Additionally, the temperature in the cabin and outside is displayed on the screen.

In total, "Lion Cub" is designed for 161 passengers. At the same time, there are 40 seats.
