Vendors Inferit (Softline Group of Companies) and Reference Point LLC confirmed the compatibility and correct operation of the Russian operating system MSVSFERA 9 and the IT infrastructure management system Zodiac.ITM (Zodiac.ITM). Softline announced this on December 13, 2024.

The Zodiac.ITM IT infrastructure management system is fully developed by the Russian company Reference Point LLC. The system is designed to solve the spectrum of tasks of administration and management of heterogeneous fleets of workstations and servers with different operating systems and processor architectures. The system is focused on integrating organizations of arbitrary size into the existing IT landscape - from hundreds of computing nodes to hundreds of thousands.

The functionality of the system includes hardware, software and file inventory, distribution and update of software, mass management and control of managed device configurations, remote connection and administration of workstations, as well as the "Application Store" for users. The Zodiac product. iTTIEM is in the register of Russian software.

As part of the testing, the specialists performed a comprehensive check of the deployment and operation of the Zodiac. iTTIEM based on the MSVSFERA OS. The tests covered the full stack of the solution: from the installation of server components (administration and communications servers) on the MSVSphera Server 9 OS to the deployment of control agents on client machines with the MSVSPhera AWS 9 OS.

During testing, the operability of all critical functions of the system was confirmed:

• Comprehensive software and hardware inventory, including specialized scenarios for analyzing services, network ports, and user profiles,
• Centralized software management through external and internal repositories,
• Organize secure remote connections through the Web console,
• Automatic detection and accounting of network devices,
• Integration with enterprise authentication systems.

The test results confirmed the possibility of building an effective system for managing heterogeneous IT infrastructure based on a bundle of products with support for horizontal scaling and fault tolerance.
