The initial version of the client operating system MSVSFER 6.3 of the AWS, developed by the National Center for Support and Development LLC based on CentOS 6.3, is submitted for certification in the certification system of tools information protection FSTEC Russia according to the scheme for testing samples of products for serial production for compliance with the requirements of the Safety Assignment and the guiding document "Safety. information technology Criteria for assessing the security of information technologies, "as well as requirements for monitoring the absence of undeclared capabilities.

2010-2013

The first certified software products of the MSVSphera family were the client and server operating systems MSVSphera 5.2 Desktop and MSVS phera 5.2 Server, created by the NCPR as part of a technological partnership with Red Hat based on RHEL Desktop and Server, respectively. Their serial delivery was carried out from April 20, 2010 to May 17, 2013, after which it was discontinued.

MSVSphera OS was created in collaboration with Red Hat based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux. The first and second levels of technical support in Russia are provided by NCPR (a subsidiary of VNIINS named after V.V. Solomatin), the third level, if necessary, is provided by Red Hat and VNIINS named after V.V. Solomatin in accordance with the agreement on technological partnership between the companies. Red Hat support provides an ecosystem of compatible application products and solutions.

MSVSFER products are distributed in Russia and the CIS countries by NCPR.

MSVSphera AWS is an integrated set of open source software for organizing workplaces, developed on the basis of Red Hat Enterprise Linux Desktop. Includes operating system, office suite, personal organizer, Internet tools, graphics and multimedia tools and other user applications.

In accordance with Russian law, information systems involved in the processing of personal information must be specially protected. Mandatory requirements are the presence of cryptography by Cryptocom (KS1/ KS2) and FSTEC certificates (OUD2/NDB4). All these conditions are fully satisfied by the solutions of the WS and the Server MSV.
