2024: Production start-up

The Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Anton Alikhanov, together with the Cognitive Pilot company, officially launched the production of the world's first autonomous robot tractor with artificial intelligence. This became known in December 2024.

The project is being implemented on the basis of the industrial landfill of the Cognitive Pilot company. The volume of investments is ₽3,5 billion.

In Russia, the
production of the world's first autonomous robot tractor has been launched. ₽3,5 billion invested in the project

The unmanned mini-tractor is equipped with a hybrid engine and uses the latest artificial intelligence technologies. The machine is designed to perform a wide range of tasks in agriculture, the oil and gas industry and the transport sector.

The main feature of the mechanism is its ability to work in fully autonomous mode with various tools. The tractor can also function in the "swarm of tractors" format, coordinating with other machines to perform joint tasks.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia notes the uniqueness of the project and its importance for the development of domestic agricultural engineering and robotic equipment.

PJSC Gazprom has already concluded an agreement on the systematic introduction of new robotic tractors at its enterprises. This will allow large-scale testing of the technology in real production conditions.

The production of autonomous robot tractors will be an important step in the development of Russian agricultural engineering and artificial intelligence technologies. The project demonstrates the potential of domestic developers in creating innovative technology.

Robotic tractors will increase the efficiency of agricultural work and operations in the oil and gas industry by automating processes and the possibility of round-the-clock operation of equipment in autonomous mode.[1]
