BaseALT and Financial University became partners, students will study Alt OS

2024: Alt OS Supply Agreement

BaseALT and the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation entered into a partnership agreement. Alt OS will be installed in classrooms, computer classrooms and mobile workplaces, university teachers will be certified to work with operating systems, and students will have the opportunity to learn system administration. This was announced by "BASEALT" on December 27, 2024.

The College of Computer Science and Programming was the first to join the academic program of the Alt Academy project. In the near future, other divisions of the university will become its participants.

We are increasing our partnership with the largest universities in the country: we share applied tasks and customer needs with teachers so that future graduates enter the labor market with high-quality specialists, ― said Sergey Trandin, CEO of the company.

The Alt OS will be installed in computer classrooms, classrooms, mobile workplaces for teachers and virtual stands for students.

Together with BASEALT, we make the educational process practice-oriented so that the knowledge gained at the university is useful for students in their professional activities, "said Grigory Ostapenko, Vice-Rector for Digitalization of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.

Teachers will be trained at the company's authorized training center, and college students will have the opportunity to be certified to be "Alt OS Administrator."

It is planned to hold round tables, competitions, championships, hackathons and other joint events. BaseALT participates in career guidance activities of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, such as a job fair and career days.
