On January 17, 2025, Scanport announced the implementation of a warehouse and store automation project for Feelz.

FEELZ is a youth clothing brand in Russia.

About the Client

The owner of the FEELZ brand has its own production of youth clothing and stores in Moscow, Izhevsk, Yekaterinburg, Krasnodar. There are 50 employees on staff as of January 2025. The entrepreneur has storage facilities with a total area of ​ ​ 1,500 square meters. m. In accounting - about 2,000 item items. 

The collections contain fashionable men's and women's clothes (jeans, T-shirts, sweatshirts, bodysuits, tops, skirts, dresses, etc.), accessories (hats, glasses, backpacks, etc.).

Project objectives

The customer asked Scanport to implement equipment and software for automating business processes in the warehouse and in stores. At that time, he used the 1C commodity accounting system. Employees worked with paper invoices, spent a lot of time on acceptance, shipment, inventory of goods, collection of orders. With the introduction of mandatory clothing labeling, even greater difficulties arose in accounting - it took equipment that can read Data Matrix codes, and software that interacts with the Honest Sign system.

Project Description

At the request of the customer, Scanport introduced at his enterprise. Shipping documentation Chainway S61 3 such devices were purchased. The software component was the software DataMobile Online Lite version with the Marking software module.

The Chainway S61 data collection terminal is equipped with a keyboard unit and an increased capacity battery ( 6,700 mAh), operates from 12 hours on a single charge. The built-in 2D scanner reads large and small barcodes at a distance of up to 60 cm. It also supports work with Data Matrix codes. The terminal has a shock-resistant body that can withstand falls on concrete from a height of up to 1.8 m.

ON for shipping documentation - DataMobile Online Lite - allows you to automate:

• acceptance of goods;
• inventory;
• Moving products from the warehouse to stores and between outlets
• collection and picking of orders;
• shipment and transfer of clothing for delivery.

The software exchanges data with the accounting system online.

With the help of the Marking software module, Data Matrix codes are parsed, their statuses in the Honest SIGN system are monitored.

To mark goods, the customer purchased a TSC TDP-225 label printer with thermal printing function and 203 dpi resolution.

The client has already used the "1C" account system, so the mobile software has approached optimally, since the programs are integrated without additional drivers.

Scanport specialists during the project:

• installed the software on the shipping documentation, configured for the customer's tasks;
• finalizing the client's accounting system;
• integrated the DataMobile software product with a modified "inventory."
• No employee training was conducted. The implementation process took only 3 days.

Results

Following the results of the warehouse and store automation project, the customer received the following results:

• acceptance, shipment, reconciliation of balances, collection and picking of orders are faster than when working with paper documents;
• Prices are checked regularly and revaluation is performed if necessary
• The number of errors in handling warehouse tasks has decreased.
• products are delivered to customers on time, which increases their loyalty to the store;
• control of residues has been established;
• shortages and reassortment were reduced.

The owner of FEELZ is making further plans to automate business processes. He plans to automate all objects of the retail network - order equipment and software, as well as train employees in work.
