In 2010 in connection with active development (emergence of new product lines, growth of sales volumes, emergence of new sales markets) it became much more difficult to receive the authentic and timely management reporting and the reporting under planned data in different analytical cuts. There was a need for the automated consolidation of budgets and actual data and operational variance analysis. The company management made the decision on start of the project on management of finance together with INTALEV Group.

The project consisted of several blocks:

  • Diagnostics, training of a project team and users;
  • Development, optimization and setting of methodology;
  • Setup of an information system according to the developed methodology;
  • Start and maintenance of a system.

At the stage "Concept and Design of the Project" requirements of the Company of rather new management system for finance were found in details out. The following blocks by the functional principle were as a result selected:

  • Management accounting and obtaining the reporting according to requirements of management accounting and the reporting of Planeta Group (in the software product "INTALEV: Corporate management");
  • Data collection for daily management of payments (according to the scenario the Current plan);
  • Conducting budget planning (in the software product "INTALEV: Corporate management"), obtaining reporting under planned data, regulation of budget planning;
  • Scaling of the solution on all branches and consolidation of data.

One block of the project – management accounting and operational management of payments is at the moment completely finished and started.

Main project deliverables:

  • Consolidation of data from the systems of trade accounting
  • Conducting management accounting according to all sections of accounting (not including commodity accounting)
  • Data collection for daily management of payments (according to the scenario the Current plan)
  • Obtaining reporting under actual data.

By the achieved results the guide of the Customer estimated the following effects:

  • The documents developed and configured within the block of automation of management accounting for input of actual data allow to enter operational information in required analysts. Automation of procedures of depreciation, charge of exchange differences and closing of the period allows to reduce time for preparation of the reporting.
  • Besides, users can receive various reports in different cuts and also compare information on several scenarios.
  • Also there was an opportunity to quickly carry out a financial analysis of actual data.

At operational planning of money control of their remaining balance is exercised.
