The TITAN-2 construction concern has improved its IT infrastructure with the Cyber ​ ​ Cyberprotect solution. Cyberprotect announced this on February 12, 2025.

The company's information infrastructure for February 2025 includes more than 4,500 workstations, 100 physical and more than 1,000. virtual servers

The program for the transition to the Russian IT solutions adopted by the company proved its importance and value in 2022-2023, when most foreign developers ON left the Russian market and using their solutions became difficult and even risky.

In recent years, the focus of our attention has been the introduction of safe, import-independent domestic IT solutions, the transfer of the main information systems of the enterprise to Russian software, the development of infrastructure using domestic software and hardware systems. We automated all processes in the company, switched to the Russian enterprise resource management system, build a distributed IT landscape of the concern and introduce new infrastructure solutions, - said the server infrastructure department of Concern TITAN-2 JSC.

Specialists of the Concern Directorate IT construction had to solve one of the strategic tasks to achieve uninterrupted operation of the enterprise and ensure it - information security to create flexible, reliable and protected. IT infrastructure

Previously, the company used products from foreign developers: Microsoft Hyper-V, as well as VMware Virtual SAN.

In accordance with the IT strategy of JSC Concern TITAN-2, it was necessary to:

1. migrate from foreign software to the Russian platform;
2. Create a shared storage for the virtualization cluster .
3. Deploy a productive, scalable IT infrastructure.
4. ensure the information security of the company's IT ecosystem.

Due to the impossibility of further use of previously implemented systems, we decided to switch to software from a proven Russian vendor, which will differ in performance, scalability, high availability, - explained in JSC Concern TITAN-2.

The construction of the new system in JSC Concern TITAN-2 took about three months from the moment of installation to full commissioning. Technical specialists implemented the solution on their own and responsibly approached the issue of integrating the Cyberprotect solution into the company's infrastructure. Previously, the logic and functionality of the software was studied, the methodology for configuring server and network equipment was developed, the best option for deploying the solution was determined. After preparation, a pilot project was launched. And after comprehensive testing, a complete transition to Cyber ​ ​ Infrastructure was made.

The use of Cyber ​ ​ Infrastructure made it possible to create a reliable and fault-tolerant virtualization platform and build a storage system. The software helped create shared virtualization cluster storage and separate software defined storages for other virtualization systems in the organization.

As of February 2025, the deployed infrastructure ensures the security of 80 TB of strategically important data and supports the operation of 300 virtual machines of JSC Concern TITAN-2. As of February 2025, about 30% of virtualization has been transferred to Cyber ​ ​ Infrastructure servers.
