2025: Agreement with Rostelecom to develop infrastructure for tourism

Rostelecom and Arkhyz JSC signed an agreement on cooperation and cooperation on the digital development of the all-season tourist and recreational complex in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic on February 26, 2025. The signatures in the document were put by Deputy President - Chairman of the Board of Rostelecom Valery Ermakov and General Director of MC Arkhyz, Mantera Group of Rostelecom Roman Kiranchuk. As part of the agreement, the companies plan to develop cooperation in the field of integration of digital technologies into the tourism segment, the introduction of smart solutions for the hotel service and information security. The priority of the partners is the construction of digital infrastructure and the modernization of fiber-optic communication lines, including the creation of a backup line with a length of more than 50 km. This will reduce the number of emergencies on the telecom infrastructure of Arkhyz, which will have a positive effect on the reputation of the resort among the guests of the region.

The plan of the Mantera Group of Companies for the development of the Arkhyz all-season resort provides for the construction of over 33 km of ski slopes with a total area of ​ ​ more than 120 hectares. Most of them will be equipped with an artificial snow formation system. In addition, it is planned to develop the ski infrastructure of the resort, including lifts, engineering protection, artificial snowmaking and lighting systems, as well as the construction of five new cable cars and the creation of a single skiing zone connecting all Arkhyza tourist villages.
