Siberian Automobile and Road University will begin to use the domestic platform RITM³

2025: Academic Version Delivery RITM³

SIMETRA has delivered a domestic academic version of the RITM³ transport planning platform to the Siberian State Automobile and Road University (SibADI). The platform will be used to practice practical skills in transport modeling, as well as in research activities. Simetra announced this in April 2025.

As part of the agreement with SIMETRA, SibADI will receive an academic version of the RITM³ transport planning platform, which includes basic modules - Transport Forecasting and Modeling, Geo-Information System (GIS) and Digital Twin.

Synergy with the developers of domestic industry software is the basis on which the training of engineering personnel is built. Students should be able to work on Russian platforms so that at the exit from the university they are already ready to work on real projects. We look positively at our cooperation with SIMETRA, where practices create understandable and convenient tools for working in Russian cities and agglomerations, - commented Stanislav Kapralov, Associate Professor of the Department of Transportation Organization and Traffic Safety at the Institute of Road Transport, Oil and Gas and Construction Equipment of SibADI.

The network of cooperation between SIMETRA and engineering personnel training centers for the transport industry is constantly increasing. Our task is to teach future experts to work with Russian software, as well as get more feedback from users: within the framework of the agreement, we will exchange experience with students and specialists of SibADI, which will serve to develop the field of road transport planning, - commented Oleg Yakovenko, director of software sales at SIMETRA Group of Companies.
