Mostotrest optimizes operating costs

Thanks to application of the solution based on the EAM Infor software application, the largest Russian construction company solved the most important problems of management of the assets, logistics, financial and labor resources

The MOSTOTREST company specializing in construction and reconstruction of road, railway and city bridges, roads and other engineering constructions implemented the solution of Infor EAM for rationalization of management of the fixed assets and their maintenance and also reductions of the corresponding costs. System implementation specialists of KSS company - "Space Systems of Rescue" made, the partner of Datastream Solutions CIS company.

Need of use of an automated system for management of operating costs in JSC MOSTOTREST was caused by problems, typical for the enterprises of such scale. In the company there were no mechanisms of management of fixed assets and a MRO, there were shortcomings of information support of the corresponding processes. The impossibility to quickly submit the reporting complicated acceptance of management decisions. The detail level of information on assets and also the obtained primary data was not sufficient for carrying out the analysis.

As the modern tools allowing to obtain in real time information on work of fixed assets of the enterprise and related costs the solution Infor EAM was selected. The software application then is integrated with a system GLONASS/GPS for complex condition monitoring of the equipment that allowed to improve volume, the speed of collecting and the accuracy of the data necessary for the management for work and the analysis.

Within an implementation project of the solution Infor EAM assigned tasks were successfully solved. Regarding improvement of asset management processes detailed certification of objects of fixed assets which status is carefully traced and which management of service requests happens in real time now is made. The implemented solution based on Infor EAM allowed to optimize logistics, including automatic registration of receipts or write-offs of component parts and parts for a warehouse or from a warehouse and also order management on delivery. Rationalization of planning processes of the labor resources and financial investments connected with maintenance and repairs was also made using Infor EAM.
