Ecovacs Robotics has developed its own neural network, YIKO GPT, which optimizes voice control of devices. The company announced this on June 25, 2025.

YIKO GPT is based on an advanced generative artificial intelligence architecture designed with home automation in mind. Unlike universal language models, YIKO GPT is designed specifically to solve everyday issues, which allows it to recognize user commands.

YIKO GPT is the next step in the development of home robotics, which raises great hopes for the development of this area. The mechanics of command perception in YIKO GPT is built on a multi-stage speech processing process involving recognition, interpretation, and contextual adaptation. First, the built-in microphones of the device capture the user's voice and transmit the audio signal to the speech processing module, where using the Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) algorithms, the voice is converted into text. Next, the Natural Language Understanding (NLU) module comes into operation, analyzing the structure of the phrase, highlighting key intentions (Intentas) and task parameters (slots) - for example, cleaning place, type of coating or sequence of actions. After that, the YIKO GPT language model, based on pre-trained scenarios and its own generative mechanism, forms the optimal action plan: it breaks down the complex command into logical steps, correlates them with the room map and activates the necessary functions of the vacuum cleaner. All this happens in real time and taking into account previous experience of interaction, which allows the system to adapt to the habits of a particular user.

The first YIKO GPTs were the DEEBOT T50 MAX PRO OMNI, T50 PRO OMNI, X8 PRO OMNI and T10 models. Thanks to this change, the ECOVACS HOME application has also changed - a separate setting has appeared to activate the voice assistant, which responds not only to predetermined commands. The robot understands complex, multi-stage commands. The user can say: "Please remove the carpet in the hallway under the sofa in the living room and vacuum it," and the robot will do everything without unnecessary questions, even if such a command was not originally on the list.

At the same time, it is extremely easy to control YIKO GPT for the user: you just need to enable it in the YIKO Voice Assistant application, then at any time you can access the robot using the phrase "OK YIKO" and immediately give a command - for example: "start cleaning," "increase suction power," "remove under the sofa" or any real command that came to the user's mind.
