Employees of the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications of the region took part in the launch of a base station in the village of Rusanovo, Cheremisinovsky district, where more than 200 people live, the regional Ministry of Digital Science said.

In parallel, the operability of 8 base stations in the border areas was restored: Rylsky, Glushkovsky, Lgovsky, Belovsky, Bolshesoldatsky and Korenevsky.

As a result of the implementation of this program, an increasing number of regional citizens are gaining access to the advantages of telecommunications services - from a high-speed Internet connection to reliable telephone communication, "said Acting Minister of Digital Development and Communications of the Kursk Region Sergey Kozhevnikov.

The program to eliminate digital inequality, initiated by the President, is actively being implemented in the Kursk region. Despite the difficult situation, the stations appeared in the border areas, - said Konstantin Komkov, deputy chairman of the Kursk Regional Duma, regional coordinator of the Digital Russia party project.

At the same time, since this year, the UCN program has been expanded and covered more settlements - the upper limit of the number of inhabitants was raised from 500 to 1000 people. By 2030, more than 9 thousand settlements should be provided with communication within the framework of the program. "UCN 2.0" is a real tool for overcoming digital inequality, "he said.

We conduct a constant dialogue with local residents, promptly respond to citizens' appeals, achieve priority connection of settlements, and conduct appropriate consultations.
