2025: TopLog WMS Implementation
KNAUF automates warehouse logistics with TopLog WMS. Toplog announced this on September 22, 2025.
The implemented warehouse management system has increased the speed of processes and detail of accounting, created the basis for the implementation of the latest technological solutions in the field of warehouse logistics.
Due to the increase in production volumes and an increase in the number of orders in the KNAUF Russia group, there was a need to increase the efficiency of logistics processes at production and warehouse complexes. The management of the company decided to implement a warehouse accounting and logistics process management system based on the modern Russian warehouse management system.
The pilot site for this project was defined as the plant in. Stupino
Toplog was chosen as a partner for the implementation of the priority project of KNAUF.
The result of the pilot project was the successful implementation of TopLog WMS at the warehouse 7,500 sq. m complex equipped with storage systems and warehouse equipment. The information system manages the entire chain of warehouse processes: acceptance from production and from external suppliers, placement in storage areas, picking, shipment, inventory and internal movements. On the WMS side, detailed batch accounting, monitoring of compliance with the FEFO/FIFO principles, monitoring of compliance with the shelf life of finished products are carried out.
Warehouse employees interact in real time with the system through the TopLog WMS mobile application on data collection terminals (shipping documentation), receive and perform tasks, and the results of the performed operations are instantly recorded both in WMS and in corporate information system. The interaction of the systems is organized through the TopLog API built into the TopLog WMS, which provides automatic synchronization of data between WMS and CIS about warehouse operations, movements and balances, as well as the current state of the item (NSI).
| The introduction of the warehouse management system made it possible to increase the speed and quality of order processing, reduce dependence on the human factor, and make logistics processes transparent and traceable. Management received a functional tool for managing warehouse logistics with wide analytical reporting, which allows you to see both the overall picture of work and detailed statistics, "said Oleg Shingiriy, director of the company's procurement and logistics department. |
