Biography

1985-2021

Kolchin was born in Kazan in 1985. He has two diplomas with honors from the Polymer Faculty of Kazan State Technological University. In 2007 he received a bachelor's degree, in 2009 - a master's degree in technology and technology in the field of "Chemical technology and biotechnology." In 2010, he was awarded the qualification of economist-manager in the specialty "Economics and Management at the Enterprise" of the Higher School of Economics. In 2016, he received an MBA (Executive MBA, Switzerland), in 2020 he passed a training program at the London Business School.

Since 2005, Kolchin worked at OJSC Kazanorgsintez, since 2007 - at the Research Organization Sibur-TomskNeftekhim. In 2010, he was appointed Technical Director of Standard Plastic Group LLC. From 2011 to 2016, he worked in various positions at PJSC Sibur-Holding: in particular, he held the posts of head of the cable plastic division, executive director of the Novokuybyshevsky branch of Biaxplen LLC (part of Sibur-Holding), head of the chemical procurement department and advisor to the managing director. In 2016, he became Managing Director of Voterfall Pro LLC. From 2018 to 2021, he acted as director for the development of new businesses at Sigma Capital LLC.

2025: Appointment as CEO of Sveza-Les Timber Company

On October 6, 2025, Dmitry Sveza Forest Kolchin was appointed to the post of general director of the timber industry company "." In this post, he replaced, Sviatoslav Sarson who headed the enterprise since July 2025 as an interim head.

As general director of Sveza-Les, Kolchin's area of ​ ​ responsibility will include various divisions of the group: slab and resource (Svezy plywood plants and own logging), pulp and paper (KBK Kama), as well as packaging and special paper divisions (MMPOF and Nevsky Grani).[1]
