2025: ML Lab Plan

On October 23, 2025, BPMSoft announced the start of cooperation with Kazan Federal University (KFU) in the field of machine learning. As part of the partnership, a pilot ML laboratory based on the low-code platform BPMSoft will be created at the Institute of Information Technologies and Intelligent Systems of KFU.

If earlier cooperation within the framework of the BPMSoft Education program included the acquisition by students of basic knowledge on the use of the platform and certification, then the project with KFU involves in-depth work with machine learning tools built into the low-code platform.

By agreement with the university, students will be able to develop their own ML models in Python, integrate them into business processes, configure parameters using low-code and test in real scenarios. The platform for this will be the BPMSoft cloud infrastructure.

The BPMSoft product already has many built-in ML models, but until that moment we did not disclose their connection interfaces and source code. For KFU, we went further - we showed how to integrate our own machine learning models into finished software. Students will be able not only to achieve synthetic indicators, but to check the work of their solutions in practice - for example, to collect recommendation services that automatically form collections of goods for distribution to customers.
said Andrey Zykin, Head of AI Implementation at BPMSoft.

An important feature of cooperation is the possibility of A/B testing of student developments in conditions close to industrial operation. The best of them, the company is ready to integrate into its platform or place in the BPMSoft Application Store on mutually beneficial terms.

It is especially valuable to us that BPMSoft has provided access to internal tools for working with ML and allowed students to solve real business problems. This format provides practical experience, which is often lacking in classical training, and allows graduates to be ready for the use of modern digital systems,
noted the director of the Institute of Information Technologies and Intelligent Systems of KFU Mikhail Abramsky.

The company expects that the pilot with KFU will be scaled - after the completion of the test cycle, similar ML laboratories will be offered to other partner universities BPMSoft.

The academic program "BPMSoft Education" has been implemented since 2023 and as of October 2025 unites more than 45 leading Russian universities. During this time, over 2,000 students have been trained to work with BPMSoft. The goal of the project is to form a talent pool of IT specialists who own domestic digital products and are ready to solve current business problems.
