2020: Introduction of products "Nanosoft

JSC Development Corporation of the Nizhny Novgorod Region is a single center for supporting investment projects: from collecting information about the region to putting the facilities into operation. Provides interaction with investors, executive authorities and local governments, entities of natural monopolies and other organizations.

Mass haul calculated in nanoCAD GeoniCS

The corporation manages projects with a total value of more than 200 billion rubles, it is accompanied by about 18 concession projects and 157 investment projects in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

As the management company of the Kulibin SEZ, the corporation develops for residents the planning of engineering and transport infrastructure networks, and is also the owner of the constitutional plan of the entire site. Every year the number of orders increased, it was necessary to manage more and more significant amounts of information provided to residents.

Endless expansion of the state is not the most effective way to solve this problem. It was necessary to increase labor productivity, and therefore introduce new design technologies, mastering specialized software that would allow general plan specialists to effectively cope with a heavy load.

The company already worked in the base. nanoCAD platform When studying the market, we got acquainted with, and nanoCAD GeoniCS then, having completed testing and made sure of the presence of the declared functionality, we made a decision on the purchase.

Criteria that determined the selection of Nanosoft products

  • Availability of special tools for creating plot plans and vertical planning, automatic cartogram breakdown.
  • Creates a surface from different data (points, contours).
  • Automatic generation of lists based on the built data.
  • The ability to seamlessly transfer the surface to adjacent sections.

Results

Assessing the experience of using nanoCAD GeoniCS when solving problems related to the planning and placement of objects on the territory of the Kulibin SEZ, design engineers noted that the software package provides convenient tools for creating digital terrain models and managing such models.

Creating a Primary Surface in nanoCAD GeoniCS

Thanks to the perfectly organized exchange data between related sections and the availability of specialized tools for creating master plans, the project execution time was reduced from four months to two. Errors in the calculation of the volume of earth masses were eliminated, which significantly increased the accuracy and efficiency of work.

It was also possible to significantly reduce the deadlines for issuing deliverables, which made it possible to optimize the entire design process. All of these achievements were the result of the well-coordinated work of the team and the introduction of modern technologies, and this in turn created favorable conditions for further development and improvement.

A complete model of one of the objects built in nanoCAD GeoniCS using both points and breaklines

Simplifying the preparation of input data. Designers have to work with a variety of formats: a finished layout in.dwg format, scans of drawings in PDF, only cadastral extracts or only pictures of the layout in raster formats. This complicates the work, and therefore its first stage is the preparation of the layout using nanoCAD GeoniCS.

3D Design Land Model in nanoCAD GeoniCS

More accurate construction of the primary surface. Designers often cannot obtain a sufficient study surface, so they additionally use horizontal drawing from feature lines (relief lines). If the surveyors did not provide additional coordinates, the designers, using nanoCAD GeoniCS, set them themselves. Thus, a more accurate surface can be obtained.

Visual inspection of alignment of existing and design ground surfaces in nanoCAD GeoniCS

Drawing a horizontal layout is less time-consuming. For horizontal planning, design engineers use nanoCAD primitives such as polylines, lines, hatches, blocks, and so on.

Consolidated model of the Kulibin SEZ made in nanoCAD GeoniCS

Faster loading of the architecture to the plot plan and making changes. Most often, blocks are used in the work - they allow you to insert data from architects at the presented scale. Architects issue a model in millimeters, designers save it as a block also in millimeters. And already on the general plan, where the work takes place in meters, the model is displayed correctly.

A more accurate view of the object. For vertical planning, designers use ground elevations, planning lines, and breaklines to create a more accurate and visual 3D model of the design land.

Additional visual inspection. In nanoCAD GeoniCS, designers work with the designed (red) and existing (black) surface, allowing additional visual control over what they design and how it interacts with the existing relief. Such an opportunity is especially convenient, for example, when demonstrating the designed fragment to the customer or when reconciling data in conditions where there is not yet an accurate understanding of what the future object should look like.

Filter by Network Layer in nanoCAD GeoniCS

Simple calculation of mass haul volume and creation of cartogram. After the vertical layout is ready, designers use the nanoCAD GeoniCS tools to design it in a mass haul cartogram.

Selectively view data in nanoCAD GeoniCS

Update summary plans. A summary plan is often many different objects. In the Kulibin SEZ, it is divided into engineering networks that relate directly to JSC Development Corporation of the Nizhny Novgorod Region; engineering networks that are laid by residents; all other objects, such as roads, buildings, engineering structures. The functionality of nanoCAD GeoniCS allows you to combine summary plans.

Convenient orientation in layers. One of the easiest ways to attribute objects in nanoCAD GeoniCS is to distribute objects among layers and set layers of some ciphers. This breakdown greatly simplifies this operation, especially since many organizations do not yet carry out a clear distribution of layers.

Generating a Summary Model in CADLib Model and Archive

Generating a Summary Model in CADLib Model and Archive

Thanks to the nanoCAD GeoniCS tools, designers can only show what they want to see at the moment, hiding everything else. For example, isolate layers with sewage and see how it is located on the ground and how it interacts with other networks.

Documentation and seamless transfer of the model to adjacent sections. All documentation is automated and performed using the nanoCAD GeoniCS tools. Finally, the specialists transfer the finished model to CADLib Model and Archive, where TIM modeling directly takes place, the assembly of the entire 3D model.
