Dalmostostroy: Automation of budget planning and formation of the management reporting

Need for carrying out the "Automation of Budget Planning and Formation of the Management Reporting" project arose, by estimates of specialists of JSC Dalmostostroy proceeding from the following premises:

• Restrictions of the current software for budgeting on all budgets (BDR, BDDS, NSB, EE);
• Need of automation and consolidation of planned and actual budgets on all divisions and all objects of the enterprise;
• Need of operational reconciliation of these budgets.

Project objective was automation of collecting and consolidation of planned and actual data of the income and expenditure budget, budget of cash flow, natural and cost and functional budgets for standards of the Customer in JSC Dalmostostroy using software "INTALEV: Corporate management" module "Corporate finances", namely:

• Functional unit "Automation of budget planning"
  • Planning of budgets of the company (BDR, BDDS, NSB) as consolidated and the corresponding budgets of divisions for different scenarios.
  • Planning of the budget of cash flow from the income and expenditure budget.
  • Consolidation of the income and expenditure budget and budget of cash flow for all company.
  • Procedure declaration of planning in the company in the form of the sequence of the entered data.

• Functional unit "Automation of management accounting and reporting"
  • Broadcast of the accounting fact in the corresponding formats of budgets.
  • Automation of formation of the plan-fact budget reporting of income and expenses, natural and cost budgets, functional budgets, to the budget of cash flow.
  • Development of recommendations about change in an accounting circuit the analyst for the purposes of installation of unambiguous compliance accounting and managerial the analyst.

As a result of cooperation with Intalev — the Far East company the company received the customized automated system in software "INTALEV: Corporate management":

• Opportunity to the staff of production divisions to enter information with planned data.
• Configured broadcast of the accounting fact in a managerial circuit in software "INTALEV: Corporate management".
• Automatic formation of the plan-fact budget reporting of income and expenses, to natural and cost budgets, functional budgets and the budget of cash flow, as in general on the company, and on divisions by objects, with required analytics.

In the course the stated and coordinated calendar terms, duration of stages and the budget are observed. Certainly, efficiency evaluation of the project is impossible right after its formal end, and only after its reaching design capacity, but it is especially necessary to note that the significant role in successful project implementation, according to all participants of the working group, belongs to the CEO of INTALEV — the Far East company and the project manager Merenkova Olga Viktorovna which not only quickly and effectively implements assigned tasks, but has capability to find flexible and rational solutions.
