2025: Technopark Launch
The Moscow government has assigned the status of a technopark to the high-tech site "House of Legprom," specializing in the development and implementation of innovations in light industry. This was reported by the press service of the mayor of Moscow on December 19, 2025.
Technopark is located in the south of Moscow in the Donskoy district at 12 Ordzhonikidze Street, near the Leninsky Prospekt metro station. The total area of the technopark is 12 thousand square meters. m
The specialization of the high-tech site is the conduct of research and development work, as well as the introduction of advanced industry technologies and developments in light industry. The management company of the technopark is JSC Innovative Scientific and Production Center for Textile and Light Industry.
The Legprom House has become the only platform in Moscow that has both federal and regional technopark status. Dual status provides expanded access to government support measures and benefits at different levels of government.
The technopark houses 17 resident companies, which employ more than 330 people. Enterprises specialize in various areas of light industry:
- Flax LLC develops and manufactures sewing and leather goods for special and household purposes from natural and synthetic materials;
- Olniko Trade LLC is engaged in the development and manufacture of shoes with innovative properties;
- ANO "Russian Quality System" carries out scientific and technical activities and conducts research on the safety and quality of products.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin spoke about plans for the development of the technopark. On the basis of the "House of Legprom" it is planned to create a pilot-industrial site for the development of technologies and the production of experimental batches of products. A light industry scientific cluster will be formed for joint research of enterprises and the creation of a modern scientific and production base.[1]
