"Bionorica" transferred Directum solutions to import-substituted technological stack

2025: Directum's Translation into an Importone-Independent Stack

The manufacturer of herbal medicines "Bionorika" in 2.5 months switched to an import-independent stack. Now all Directum digital solutions in the company are based on domestic software and DBMS. This simplified the maintenance of the system, ensured its reliability and security, reduced costs. Directum announced this on December 26, 2025.

After the departure of foreign vendors from the Russian market, Bionorika decided to transfer Directum RX to an import-substituted technological stack in order to maintain the reliability and stability of digital solutions. The project was handled by Directum's general partner, Akelon, who has been collaborating with the pharmaceutical company for more than 5 years.

It was possible to complete the transfer in a short time - in 2.5 months, for this, work on updating the system and switching to an independent import stack was carried out in parallel. In the process, I didn't even have to stop business processes. The customer team took measures that ensured the continuous work of employees. The operation of services was suspended for a maximum of 2-3 days.

Despite the complexity of the work, the project team met the planned deadlines without involving additional labor costs. As a result:

The Directum RX platform began to operate in the domestic OS Astra Linux DB PostgreSQL and with. open source Thanks to this, the pharmaceutical company no longer depends on a foreign supplier.

It became easier to maintain the system, reduced the cost of buying licenses, software on an import-substituted stack - safer, more reliable and more stable.
