In February 2026, Cherkizovo Group, the largest meat producer in Russia, completed the migration of integration flows from the SAP Process Orchestra (PO) platform to the Russian Integration Gears platform of the LAB JV developer. The new system transmits data on more than 100 streams from various software complexes, including SAP, 1C, database management systems and platforms for monitoring the Internet of Things.
As indicated in Cherkizovo's press release, the project was implemented as part of the 1C landscape reorganization and development program. The key task was to find a reliable replacement for SAP PO with the obligatory preservation of native integration with the SAP system.
The LAB JV team began work by analyzing all integration flows, classifying them and selecting typical classes. As part of one migration phase, 20 key threads were transferred to Integration Gears.
Elena Rykova, Commercial Director of LAB JV, said that for each class of scenarios, specialists have developed transfer templates. She clarified that this approach allows the customer's IT team to independently scale the project, minimally involving external contractors.
IT Nina Sivokha, Head of SAP Directorate at Cherkizovo, explained that the developer's choice is due to his expertise and innovative approach. According to her, the Integration Gears product met the complex requirements of the group and made it possible to develop a single IT architecture with a central integration component.
Cherkizovo uses the FESB tool and the Enterprise Integration Kit as part of Integration Gears. The latter contains a set of connectors - special components that provide information exchange with various systems using secure protocols.
