Support for 1C Integration Services and Exchange Plans

The Integration Gears integration platform now supports 1C connectivity mechanisms. The connectors were added to the Enterprise Integration Kit module by the Russian developer LAB JV, which announced this on December 16, 2024.

The Integration Gears platform is a Factor-ESB (FESB) integration bus and an optional Enterprise Integration Kit module from the JV LAB.

Enterprise Integration Kit, in addition to previously available connectors to solutions SAP and services, EDIproviders has support for the 1C Integration Services and Exchange Plans mechanisms, which allow you to organize effective interaction between both systems based on 1C: Enterprise each other and with third-party applications.

Additionally, the set of native connectors to other business applications was expanded - support for the SAP MDM system was added, which some large Russian companies continue to use.

We are actively developing the platform, hearing the requests of big business and making our product able to close them efficiently. One of them is to ensure the rapid and effective interaction of existing systems with solutions that companies are introducing to replace foreign ones. Therefore, we focus on the development of technologies for their integration with each other. In 2025, the Monitoring Center module will be added to the Integration Gears platform. It will provide a universal tool for centralized monitoring of integration flows for IT support professionals.

Integration Gears Platform View

On April 18, 2024, Russian developers LAB JV and Factor-TS presented a new integration platform Integration Gears, which will replace the solutions of foreign vendors and allow large companies to integrate corporate applications into a single loop using protocols native to IT systems. LAB JV invests about 100 million rubles in the project.

This integration platform for April 2024 includes the Factor-ESB integration bus and its compatible Enterprise Integration Kit solution. The developers agreed on an ambitious platform development plan for the next two years.

Factor-ESB software is an intermediate layer that allows you to solve a full stack of integration problems. The Enterprise Integration Kit module includes connectors to and from SAP systems EDIto providers that allow the bus to communicate with external integrable systems interfaces native to them and secure exchange protocols. In addition, by the end of 2024, the Enterprise Integration Kit will have new connectors to business applications that are implemented on the basis of the platform. 1C: Enterprise This allows customers to quickly create integrations of the SAP-1C and 1S-1S-type.

At this stage, the results of the first Integration Gears implementation project are already available. The IT team of the Russian representative office of Knauf, as part of its comprehensive project to renovate the system landscape and infrastructure, has successfully implemented business-critical integrations using a new integration platform.

As of April 2024, the demand for domestic solutions of the "heavy" enterprise level is very large on the market. With the departure of foreign vendors, the landscape of corporate systems of large companies is fragmenting more and more, and the complexity of integration is only growing. By the end of 2024, 3 modules will be added to the platform: Schema Registry, Monitoring Center, API Management. The Schema Registry module is a unified registry that will allow you to manage thousands of integration contracts of various information systems. API Management will enable you to centrally create new interfaces for integrable applications, define API usage policies, and control their execution. And the Monitoring Center module will allow specialists who accompany integration solutions to conveniently configure the workspace to monitor many integration flows.

Depending on the needs, the customer will be able to flexibly choose the composition of the platform modules he needs. At the same time, it is expected that the total cost of ownership of the new integration platform for the customer will be lower than the cost of similar solutions of Western vendors.
