The Tetrasvyaz company, the federal operator of services of a professional radio communication, signed the contract for creation of a laboratory complex for position fix and positioning of forces and means of the fire fighting equipment of the St. Petersburg university of the Public fire service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The laboratory complex intended for the educational and presentation purposes includes the stationary and mobile exchange service stations TETRA maintaining all functionality of the TETRA standard including packet data transmission and navigation information and also the automated workplace of the manager and the corresponding software. The module for signal pick-up of the Russian satellite GLONASS system is integrated into mobile radio stations TETRA that allows to perform monitoring of location and a status of mobile subscribers of network and to perform coordination of their actions in a foreground mode.

The complex for needs of the GPS Ministry of Emergency Situations St. Petersburg university is compatible to the Single System of an Operative Trunking Radio Communication (SSOTRC) integrating public institutions and departments, divisions of fire services across St. Petersburg managements of civil defense and emergency and Emercom of Russia, crew of urban station of emergency medical service, service of Staff of the Governor of St. Petersburg on duty and administrations of areas, control rooms of security agencies and services of the enterprises on duty of engineering infrastructure of St. Petersburg. The network of a professional radio communication TETRA unrolled by Tetrasvyaz company in the territory of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region forms a basis of functioning of ESOTR. The single network of TETRA allows to perform effective interaction of authorities and emergency services both in daily activity, and in the mode of emergencies.

"Thanks to a hi-tech laboratory complex future specialists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will gain not only theoretical knowledge, but also practical skills of operation and use of modern automated systems of monitoring and scheduling based on GLONASS and a professional radio communication of TETRA. Already today these technologies are adopted emergency services", - the president of Tetrasvyaz company Alexander Moldavanov comments. The equipment supplied within the contract has all necessary certificates, conforms to state standards of quality.
