LirCryptoki JC (Java Card)

LISSI LLC completed in April, 2011 development of Java applet (lissi_applet) and high-level library of input-output for universal electronic cards (UEC, java card) that allowed to integrate UEC with a CIPF of "LirCryptoki". The new product received the name LirCryptoki Java Card (LirCryptoki JC) in which key information and other objects, for example, certificates of X509, are stored on UEC.

LirCryptoki JC is the cross-platform product developed by LISSI company, and consisting of Java applet and the interface library PKCS#11. Java applet is loaded on a smart card and provides the protected storage of key objects (private keys, certificates). The interface library in turn provides access to such smart card via the interface of PKCS#11 v2.30 standard and allows to use it for accomplishment of cryptographic transactions based on the Russian cryptoalgorithms (GOST 28147-89, GOST P 34.11-94, GOST P 34.10-2001). Integration of LirCryptoki JC with electronic keys and smart cards of eToken PRO (Java) of Aladdin R.D. company allowed to create the protected storage which can be used in any applications supporting work with cryptographic devices via the PKCS#11 interface.

Project implementation of LirCryptoki JC allows to use UEC in any products of LISSI company: LISSI-CSP, lissi-engine, [1] LISSI-SSF, LISSI-SNC, SignMaker, LirXCA, LirVPN, LirTunnel, Java PKCS#11 , lissi-nss and others. Also LirCryptoki JC can be used in applications of the third-party companies, for example, by Internet Explorer (IE), MS Office, Mozilla Firefox, Mozilla Thunderbird and others.

LirCryptoki JC can be successfully used for the organization of providing the public and municipal services using universal electronic cards, in banking and payment systems, in electronic document management systems and other systems where application of the electronic digital signature (EDS) is required.

On May 13, 2011 the companies "LISI" and "Aladdin R.D." announced successful integration of LirCryptoki Java Card (LirCryptoki JC) of page eToken PRO (Java). The correctness of work and full compatibility of solutions is confirmed as a result of certification tests. For confirmation of correct work of integrated solutions certification tests as a result of which the certificate of compatibility is received were carried out. Thus, solutions can be used for the organization of providing the public and municipal services, in banking and payment systems, in electronic document management systems and electronic biddings and also other systems where application of the electronic signature is required. Besides, now the solution eToken PRO (Java) of Aladdin R.D. company is supported by all product line of LISSI company - LISSI‑CSP, lissi‑engine, LISSI‑SSF, LISSI‑SNC, SignMaker, LirXCA, LirVPN, LirTunnel, Java PKCS#11, lissi‑nss.
