The system of video conferences at Institute of development of education of KhMAO

The Softline company announced project completion on installation and setup of the server for video conferencing in Autonomous organization of additional professional education "Institute of development of education" of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug based on Adobe Connect Pro Server allowing to simplify business communication, interaction of staff of Institute, to provide distance learning, to organize large-scale network seminars and the presentations.

Specialists of Softline proposed the solution which is most answering to assigned tasks – Adobe Acrobat Connect – the software allowing to hold virtual meetings by means of voice and video conference, with a possibility of demonstration of the presentations and other materials. The solution works on any operating system.

The project was implemented in several stages. Originally engineers of Softline booked careful audit of the existing client's IT-system, recommendations about upgrade and speeding up are made. At the second stage works on installation and setup of the necessary software – Windows Server 2008 R2, the Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 database server and also installation and setup of the Adobe Connect Server server were carried out. As a result of project implementation at Institute of development of education of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug the system of video conferences based on Adobe Connect Pro Server was implemented. The client received an available and simple system in use with ample opportunities of setup and management. "Many working questions and the preparing projects require permanent discussion of a large number of participants. At the same time, often, collecting of people for discussions and a discussion is very difficult and expensive task, especially if employees are in the different cities. Online meetings – optimal replacement to business trips when not only costs – both temporary, and material are big, – but also the risks connected with a delay or canceling of run.

Training of employees, seminars, rates, carrying out certifications of pedagogical workers, informing on changes, etc. – in these cases is more convenient to bring together people in virtual environment via the Internet", – Anatoly Lozovoy, the director of the Center of informatization of formation of Institute of development of education of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug says.
