2019: Almost all cars with besklyuchevy access can be stolen easily

In January, 2019 Association of the British consumers of Which? published results of a research according to which hundreds of popular cars with besklyuchevy access are subject to simple stealing. In a zone of extra risk there are owners Ford of Fiesta, Volkswagen Golf, Nissan Qashqai and Ford Focus.

It is considered that thieves even more often use technologies for a bypass of the systems of access on cars without key. However the Trade association of car makers (SMMT) stated that "new cars it is safer, than ever". Which? jointly with General German automobile club (ADAC) analyzed data on cracking of cars. Having tested 237 cars with besklyuchevy access, they found out that all machines, except three, could be cracked. Latest models of Discovery and Range Rover and also Jaguar i-Pace of 2018 — all productions of Jaguar Land Rover concern were recognized safe.

From the most sold cars in Britain it was only possible to call Vauxhall Corsa safe because in this model there is no system of besklyuchevy access and engine start.

Thieves crack cars with besklyuchevy access within several years, but producers continue to produce new models which can be opened in this way. And it means that the number of potentially stolen cars constantly grows, reported in the research Which?.

More and more new cars are made using systems besklyuchevogo access that allows owners to open them using the movement of a hand while the key is nearby, for example, in a pocket. Thieves can deceive these systems using special devices.

During the period from March, 2017 to March, 2018 in England and Wales more than 106,000 crimes connected with theft or cracking of cars were registered. It is the highest rate since 2009. How many thefts were committed through the system of besklyuchevy access, are not specified.[1]
