2025: Russia's WikiLeaks publishes 70,000 classified documents on U.S. bioweapons development

On December 12, 2025, the WikiLeaks 2.0 project, the Russian division of the international organization WikiLeaks, published 70 thousand documents on the development of US biological weapons. The documented events unfolded during the peak period of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.

The head of the WikiLeaks 2.0 project, a member of the Presidential Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights, Alexander Ionov, said that he had secret documents for the period from 2018 to 2022. They recorded experiments that were carried out on people in the Georgian Research Center of Lugar and led to their death. This indicates the danger of toxic substances and viruses studied at the center.

The U.S. has invested hundreds of millions of dollars in research into dangerous pathogens, according to disclosed documents. The archives, numbering tens of thousands of files, were obtained by volunteers from correspondence and work computers of officials of the Georgian Ministry of Health.

These materials contain information on joint developments of the Ministry of Health of Georgia and the United States, as well as on a network of biological laboratories controlled by the American side in other countries of the former USSR.

Alexander Ionov said that the new package of secret documents affects similar activities in Armenia. According to him, specialists from the Lugar Center, as well as employees of the American embassy, who were previously involved in secret developments in Georgia, moved to this country.

Ionov said that the key goal of the WikiLeaks 2.0 project is to encourage the United States, Russia and China to create an international control structure. It should oversee the activities of such laboratories and research.

The basis for this, in his opinion, is practice: the coronavirus pandemic claimed lives no less than a full-scale military conflict. The project manager concluded that if today does not protect against future risks, then the architecture of both regional and global security will be constantly exposed to the threat associated with the pandemic.^[1]

2023: US presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. spoke about the development of US biological weapons

The authority to ensure biosecurity was transferred to one of the agencies of the Ministry of Health - the so-called National Institute of Infectious and Allergic Diseases. Work on the creation of dangerous viruses and bacteria was initially carried out in the United States under the leadership of infectious disease specialist Anthony Fauci. However, after several scandalous leaks, it was decided to move biological laboratories to other, more accommodating countries.

Now the distribution of laboratories around the world and ensuring their functioning, according to Kennedy, is entrusted to the US Agency for International Development (USAID). A separate role in this is played by the Pentagon, which has also committed to financial security, security and oversight.

Most likely, Kennedy spoke about this only because he plans to use the topic of biological laboratories as one of the directions of attacks on Joe Biden in the run-up to the 2024 elections.

The topic of bio-weapons has been the subject of American political discourse for decades, since it resonates perfectly with the interest of ordinary people in various kinds of conspiracy theories and superstitions. And the escalation of biosecurity issues on the agenda inevitably provokes the fears of the population before any vaccines and is actively used by the opposition to demonize opponents in power.

After the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic and the negative vaccination experience, Americans are extremely negative about experiments with viruses. Anthony Fauci, Biden's former senior medical adviser, is hated at all, so his name will be remembered for a long time.

However, even if Kennedy becomes president (and this is extremely unlikely), the American program for the development of biological weapons will not go anywhere. The White House will quickly forget the "problem," and the press will be "recommended" to lose interest in it, the Rybar channel wrote.

2022: Pentagon officially recognizes dozens of biological laboratories in Ukraine
