Croc Rock

History

• On March 5, 2011 - the festival started. Within four months on radio the Silver Rain within the author's program of the famous composer, the musician and the producer Vladimir Matetsky underwent competitive selection of music bands. Compositions of all directions from pop rock and an alternative to a hard rock and the punk were taken cognizance.

Applications for participation in a festival came from the different countries of the world: Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, USA and even India and Spain. Judges, Diana Arbenina, Boris Bobrovnikov, Dmitry Vasilyev, Mikhail Kozyrev, Ilya Lagutenko, Evgeny Margulies, Vladimir Matetsky and Dmitry Savitsky, considered 2800 requests and listened to more than 7,000 tracks.

On July 23, 2011 in MUSIC TOWN club there took place a selection concert of a musical festival of CROC Rock. Played in a quarterfinal of 20 collectives before the audience and professional jury on one composition. In a semi-final based on vote of jury and audience there passed 10 groups. A concert came to the end with a special set of the MOREMONEY group.

All groups won back at the high professional grade that was mentioned both by judges, and the numerous audience of a festival. Now fight in the subsequent selection concerts is continued by commands: Astra, Bahroma, Brosound, DigitalForks, SadMe, Sonika, Anton the Eighth, Handle with care!, Slivdzhem and Artist.
