Digital Economy and Electronic Tatarstan

2021: Adoption of a 3-year program
In October 2021, the new three-year Digital Tatarstan program was adopted by the regional government. A total of 4.5 billion rubles are allocated for the tasks included in this document.
Within the framework of Digital Tatarstan, two republican programs are provided: "Digitalization of public services and the development of IT infrastructure in the Republic of Tatarstan" and "State support of human capital in the field of IT." The main tasks of the first of these programs and the planned costs for their implementation are as follows:
- Providing Internet access for schools, kindergartens, hospitals, executive committees and state authorities and other budgetary institutions of the republic - about 440 million rubles will be allocated for this;
- digitalization of state authorities - 247.2 million rubles;
- development of electronic services and digitalization of the MFC - 201.4 million rubles;
- support of the RT Data Processing Center for the functioning of state information systems - 103.6 million rubles;
- digitalization of the housing stock monitoring system, the overhaul program, the development of the Smart City project and the introduction of video analytics technologies within the framework of the Safe City project - 88.8 million rubles;
- development of the electronic education system, digitalization of the activities of libraries and museums and cultural objects - 47 million rubles;
- development of digital technologies in the field of labor, employment and social protection of the population - 38.2 million rubles;
- development of digital technologies in the field of spatial data, ecology and forestry - 26.7 million rubles;
- development of artificial intelligence projects - 4.4 million rubles.
1.5 billion rubles were allocated for the program "Digitalization of public services and the development of IT infrastructure in the Republic of Tatarstan" in 2022 , 992.5 million rubles for the program "State Support of Human Capital in the IT Sector." The latter program includes, among other things, the further development of the service delivery system at the MFC and financial support for business incubators, grants for training in the IT sector and the implementation of the School of Digital Champions project[1]
