Eurasian Software Registry
The article is devoted to the functioning of the Eurasian software registry, created in order to expand the use of programs for electronic computers and databases, confirm their origin from the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union, as well as the dissemination of the national procurement regime to meet state and municipal needs in the Russian Federation. The register has been operating since April 9, 2019.

2021: Mishustin approved updated rules for maintaining registers of domestic software and software from EAEU countries

2019: Launch of the Eurasian Software Registry
On April 9, 2019, the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation announced the commissioning of the Unified Register of Programs for Electronic Computing Machines and Databases of Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). Inclusion in the register of software products allows their rights holders to participate in public procurement in Russia along with Russian companies. This was stated by the head of the ministry Konstantin Noskov.
We launched the Register of Eurasian software and, thus, legally provided preferences in the Russian market to software developers from the EAEU countries. However, so far this is a unilateral step, the minister added. He invited colleagues in the Eurasian Union to "see how it works and bring this initiative to the level of the EAEU."
According to the information provided on the website of the Eurasian Software Registry, as of April 10, 2019, there are no entries in it yet, and no applications have yet been registered for the inclusion of software information in the registry.
