As Kommersant writes with reference to this document, the largest expenses - 917 million rubles - are scheduled for the creation and launch of a "technological digital platform."
For 340 million rubles, the Foreign Ministry intends to implement projects related to the issuance of Russian passports abroad: for this, the Public services portal biometric "" and the data collection system will be used. To make communication with citizens more convenient, the ministry will order the development of its own "intelligent web chat." Its creation will require 50 million rubles and another 10 million rubles can be spent on its operation from 2022 to 2023, the publication says.
According to the plans of the Foreign Ministry, about half of Russian citizens living abroad can receive new generation passports with a fingerprint by 2023.
