2023: New Board of Directors Approved
Three new members have been approved to the Novatek Board of Directors, consisting of nine people. The information follows from the company's reporting under RAS for 2022, published on April 3, 2023.
So, in 2022, two representatives of TotalEnergies, which owns 19.4% of the company's shares: Arnaud Le Folle and Dominic Marion, left the board of directors of Novatek. Also, the list of candidates does not include the ex-director of the Center for Energy of the Moscow School of Management Skolkovo Tatyana Mitrova.
Their places were taken by:
- First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Novatek Lev Feodosiev,
- Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Valery Kryukov (member of the Board of Directors of TATNEFT);
- Viktor Nesterenko, who by April 2023 heads the NOU DPO PravoTek Institute, PravoTEK LLC, is a member of the Boards of Directors of the General Directorate of International Book Exhibitions and Fairs and Caucasian Hydrogeology.
The rest of Novatek's board of directors will remain unchanged:
- ex-official of the Ministry of Natural Resources Alexei Oryol;
- Director of the power Center Skolkovo Irina Gaida;
- President of the Franco-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Emmanuel Kid;
- the main shareholder and head of Novatek Leonid Mikhelson;
- chapter; Gazprombank Andrei Akimov
- Chairman of the Board of Directors of Novatek since 2004, Alexander Natalenko.
It is noted that Irina Gaida, Tatyana Mitrova and Emmanuel Kide were recognized as meeting the criteria for independence on the current board of directors.[1]
