On January 31, 2022, Kirill Rodin presented the data of the VTsIOM survey on the awareness of Russians about melanoma and readiness to undergo examinations, as well as the results of screenings conducted in Novosibirsk, Chelyabinsk, Zlatoust and Magnitogorsk.
The survey was conducted in 80 regions of the country, 1,600 Russians were covered. According to the data received, at the end of 2021, the awareness of Russians about melanoma remained at the level of 2019 - 65% against 64% in 2019. The term itself was able to explain 43% of respondents, 24% indicated the oncological nature of the disease. But in general, he assessed the awareness of people about melanoma as satisfactory.
