2025: Russian President Vladimir Putin approved the launch of a single register of forwarding companies. It will work on the GosLog platform

According to RIA Novosti, the document provides for the creation of a register of persons engaged in transport and expeditionary activities. The procedure for the formation and maintenance of the register is established by the Russian government, the system will function in electronic form on the GosLog platform.
The right to carry out expeditionary activities is granted to companies from the date of posting information about them in the register. The loss of rights occurs from the date of exclusion from the register. Thus, participation in the system becomes a prerequisite for conducting a forwarding business.
The register will contain details of the forwarding agents, including the number and date of the entry. For legal entities, the full and abbreviated names in Russian, the state registration number of the creation record, address and location, taxpayer identification number, telephone number and email address are indicated.
Individual entrepreneurs must indicate the last name, first name, patronymic, registration address at the place of residence, state registration number of the registration record, TIN, telephone number and e-mail. The register also indicates the types of services provided during the implementation of expeditionary activities.
The law establishes special requirements for the provision of expeditionary services related to the transportation of objects and substances withdrawn from civilian circulation or limited turnover. The forwarding agent is obliged to ensure compliance with the requirements for their transportation established by the legislation of Russia. If it is impossible to ensure compliance with such requirements, the provision of expeditionary services is not allowed.[1]
