The salary of the specialist of SAP depends on many factors, including the residence, education level and personal experience. Also it is necessary to carry a geographical location of your company and the sphere of its activity to significant parameters.

In September, 2012 Panaya announced results of a research of the wage level of specialists of SAP which results allow:

• compare dynamics of the wage level to colleagues on the industry;
• understand logic of formation of the salaries in this segment of the market and a trend;
• reveal new vectors of personal growth.

• The highest level of earnings is revealed in spheres of aircraft, defense, health care, financial transactions and professional service. The lowest level falls to the share of staff of public services, education, retail and communication.

• In North America the salary of specialists of SAP is higher, than at their European colleagues, approximately for 25% and 35% above, than in the rest of the world.

• The salary of specialists of SAP ERP usually grows together with revenue growth of the company. The highest salaries of partners and subcontractors less than half a billion dollars are recorded at the companies with income.

• In 2011 respondents noted that they for the expired period to them suggested to undertake additional obligations much less often (to do more for the same money).

• Among the most noticeable changes in 2011 reduction of the budget (55%) and competition growth (48%) are called.

The market in Russia

SAP consultants are very demanded in the Russian labor market: only 1.4 summaries as of May, 2012, according to Superjob are the share of 1 vacancy of the SAP consultant. If to judge by quantity of vacancies and the summary on the consultant's position, labor market of SAP of specialists by 10 times exceeds labor market of consultants of Oracle.

Salary offers for SAP consultants grew during the period from the middle of 2011 to the middle of 2012 for 15.8% that is almost twice more than an average gain of salaries in information technologies (8.2%).

Whether increase in demand for SAP consultants will continue? Experts of Superjob believe that yes. However for the SAP consultants it should be taken into account also restraining factors, in particular, the serious competition in local market from other developers of ERP systems whose solutions are more available to the small companies – Microsoft and 1C.

And already now offer the most experienced implementers of 1C approximately the same salaries what on average offer SAP consultants (100 – 145 thousand rubles).

Nevertheless, in the market major deficit of specialists in SAP, to the meeting requirements of employers is observed that will stimulate growth of salary offers for them, analysts believe. However, the market of the SAP consultants regulates itself according to demand: statistically, in 2011 on the Superjob.ru portal 40% more curriculum vitae of SAP consultants, than in 2010 was placed.
