What is the "integrated" operational hall?
It means that all technologies used in the operating room – the system of information on the patient, audio, video, lighting and the medical equipment, are functionally connected that allows the surgeon to manage all these devices from one touch screen.
Integration of all aspects of management in the operating room via the simple user interface with quick access to control of such equipment, such as surgical lamps and insufflyator, helps to standardize workflow and to provide more care of patients during transaction.
The main driving force for new technologies of the integrated operating rooms is minimum invasive surgery. At accomplishment of these procedures using the remote camera / endoscope, doctors can achieve improvement of results of treatment of patients with smaller quantity of complications. As these procedures become more and more advanced, surgeons have an additional information and visualization imposed on screens. The amount of control and degree of freedom will increase, as well as the accuracy of all measurements, including image depth, specialists are sure.
As the integrated operating room is arranged
That, the operating room is how well integrated, depends on the used system. For the beginning of 2017 of technology allow to organize routing of the vital information functions for display of video or through a distribution manifold, or directly from the data acquisition device, for example, of the endoscope or the S-arc, on the surgical monitor where the operational command and the doctor can see it. Places and technologies of information storage can be also organized differently.
The equipment allowing to write and archive images with the resolution of 4K (is 4 times more than normal HD of video) becomes more and more important solution for integration of the operating room.
