Industry Development Fund to provide loans at 1% for the introduction of robots by integrators from TAdviser rating
On July 22, 2020, the Industrial Development Fund (FRF) announced that for the implementation of projects involving integrators from the TAdviser rating "Top 30 integrators of industrial robots of the Russian Federation" now it is possible to get loans at a reduced rate - at 1% per annum. The condition applies only to those integrators who are not subsidiaries of non-residents of the Russian Federation.
Since the end of 2018, the FRP has been issuing loans under the Digitalization of Industry program in the amount of 50 to 500 million rubles for a period of up to five years. The base interest rate is 5% per annum, however, when acquiring domestic software in the amount of more than 50% of the loan volume, or attracting a Russian system integrator, a reduced interest rate is valid - 1% per annum.
Earlier, the list of these integrators included only the largest Russian IT companies according to the ratings of CNews, TAdviser and Expert-RA. And now they have added integrators of robotic complexes, which are included in the TAdviser rating "Top 30 integrators of industrial robots of the Russian Federation" according to two criteria: "revenue" and "number of installed robots."
The expansion of the list of system integrators allows industrial enterprises to receive FRP loans under the Digitalization of Industry program at 1% per annum, for example, for the purchase of automated, robotic, conveyor lines, robots, manipulators, controllers, sensors and other equipment, the FRP notes. |
You can apply for a loan taking into account the new conditions in electronic format through your personal account on the FRP website.
Rating
During the preparation of the Top 30, data were received from 55 integrators. Market participants were evaluated according to two main criteria - revenue and the number of robots installed. To be included among the largest, the company's revenue from the integration of industrial robots for 2016-2018. should have exceeded 100 million rubles, and the number of robots installed for the same period should have been more than 10. Also a prerequisite was that the integrator had a robot manufacturer certificate.
As a result of the consideration of company indicators, all of them were divided into three parts. The first part included 16 integrators who met two criteria at once. The second part gathered 14 integrators, whose indicators met at least one criterion. The additional third list includes the remaining companies that have not crossed the announced threshold.
In each list, companies were sorted in alphabetical order without taking into account specific performance indicators. This decision was made after discussing the preliminary rating with market participants in order to minimize the impact of possible inaccuracies in revenue indicators.
At the same time, an unambiguous market leader was determined - "Group Vector." During 2016-2018 this company installed 97 robots totaling 785 million rubles.
30 major integrators
As noted above, the first part of the list of major integrators included 16 companies. Their total revenue from the integration of industrial robots for 2016-2018 amounted to more than 5 billion rubles. During the specified period, they installed almost 600 robots.
In total, over 790 industrial robots were installed by the 30 largest companies in the market over a three-year period. On this activity, they earned 7.4 billion rubles.

Comment on the Top 30: Most of the data provided by the companies was verified and confirmed, including with the help of robot manufacturers. However, some indicators could not be confirmed. Such data were checked on indirect grounds. Nevertheless, TAdviser and NAURR reserve the right to review the company's position or completely remove it from the Top 30 if, after publication, the facts of providing inaccurate data are revealed. All comments and remarks to the Top 30 are considered until January 15, 2020. You can send them to the executive director of NAURRalis Konyukhovskaya (ak@robotunion.ru) and TAdviser analyst Mikhail Romanov (mr@tadviser.ru) "
All integrators included in the Top 30, without exception, have a production area for assembling robotic projects. The size of such a site can vary from 40 to 2500 square meters. meters. Some participants announced plans to expand the production site.
As of June-July 2019, companies from the Top 30 had a total of more than 380 technical specialists involved in the introduction or production of robotic complexes. At least in the staff of the company there were 4 such employees, a maximum - up to 45 specialists.
The results of the study can be used by the Industrial Development Fund in the formation of a list of system integrators, with the attraction of which it is possible to reduce the borrowing rate under the program "Digitalization of Industry" to 1%. In this case, enterprises that will acquire robotic complexes from companies included in the list will be able to receive a preferential loan at a reduced rate. Details of the Fund's programme can be found here.
Additional list
An additional third list included 25 companies that did not qualify for the Top 30. This included not only newcomers to the market, but also fairly mature players with experience in introducing robots and robotic complexes in large industries. However, rather high criteria left them outside the main list.

Partnerships with foreign robot manufacturers
If we consider all 55 companies on the lists, then among them the largest number of integrators are partners of FANUC and KUKA. 25 companies have KUKA certificates, the same number of integrators have FANUC certificates (in the Top 30 this ratio is 17/12 in favor of FANUC)
In addition, 8 ABB partners, 7 Omron partners, 6 Kawasaki representatives were recorded among the represented integrators. 5 companies mentioned the Yaskawa certificate (Yaskawa Europa AB Holding), 4 more are representatives of Universal Robots. The remaining vendors in terms of partners are more modestly represented.
Applications of robots
During the preparation of the material, the integrators were asked: "For what operations and applications did you implement robots?" According to the results of the survey, it turned out that 35 out of 55 surveyed integrators introduced robots for moving materials, 34 for welding, 32 for palletizing. The remaining results are shown in the diagram below.
General Integrator List
More detailed information on the activities of integrators, including those not included in the core list, is provided in a separate table.
Basic Definitions
The integrator of industrial robots is a company that develops projects for automation of production processes based on industrial robots, assembles, installs and configures robotic complexes in production, and also provides further maintenance of the implemented equipment.
An industrial robot is an automatically controlled, reprogrammed, multi-purpose manipulator, programmable in three or more degrees of mobility, which can be installed stationary at the workplace or can be movable and used in automation systems of industrial enterprises.
Stages and methods of creating the Top 30
The creation of the list of major integrators consisted of 3 stages:
- Survey of integrator companies,
- verification of company revenue data through the service "Contour.Focus,"
- verification of data on integrator competencies through robot manufacturers.
Data obtained from 55 integrators were compared with the criteria for revenue and the number of robots installed. As a result, the companies were divided into three parts, two of which became the basis of the Top 30.
Russian manufacturers of industrial robots
Simultaneously with the preparation of the Top 30 Russian integrators, TAdviser and NAURR planned to assemble ranking for domestic manufacturers of industrial robots. However, due to the fact that there are still very few such companies in Russia, it was decided to abandon this idea. However, a similar rating is planned to be prepared in the future.
Below is a list of Russian manufacturers of industrial robots without taking into account their performance indicators.
