2023: Top 50 IT companies named
By mid-September 2024, 1,495 IT companies operate in the Ulyanovsk region. This is 9% more compared to the first half of 2023. Moreover, 158 of these organizations are accredited to the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation, that is, they can apply for state support measures. The rating of the 50 largest IT enterprises in the region is headed by SimbirSoft, as stated in the materials with which TAdviser got acquainted on September 23, 2024.
It is noted that in the first six months of 2024, 933.5 million rubles were received from IT organizations to the budget of the Ulyanovsk region, which is 19% higher than in the same period of the previous year. According to the authorities, in the future, the volume of tax revenues from the IT sector will continue to grow, which is associated with the ongoing digitalization and the introduction of online platforms.
In first place in the published list of the Top 50 is the mentioned company "SimbirSoft," which is engaged in the development of software for computers. Its revenue at the end of 2023 rose by 10.6%, reaching 3.9 billion rubles. In the ranking of the 100 best companies in the Ulyanovsk region, it takes 18th place.
In the second position in the list is the housing rental service "Суточно.ру," whose revenue in 2023 amounted to 3.1 billion rubles. Growth compared to the previous year was recorded at 86.6%. The top three is closed by Prof-IT Expert with revenue of 978.8 million rubles and an increase of 80.7% on an annualized basis. This company specializes in the automation of business processes and production, the implementation of solutions for Industry 4.0, the development of its own software products, the creation and support of IT and engineering infrastructure of the enterprise. Of all the companies in the rating, only ten saw a decrease in revenue in 2023.[1]

2024: Allocation of 14.5 billion rubles for health care
14.5 billion rubles were allocated for the development of health care in the Ulyanovsk region in 2024, including 13 billion rubles of the regional budget. The region will receive another 1.5 billion rubles from the federal budget. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Ulyanovsk region on February 6, 2024.
The department noted that at a meeting of the Ulyanovsk government, which took place on February 5, 2024, changes were made to the profile state program for the development of health care in the region. Among them - the allocation of additional more than 1.2 billion rubles. Most of these funds are planned to be directed to the implementation of the territorial program of state guarantees, the purchase of transport, equipment, the construction and overhaul of medical institutions as part of the program for the modernization of primary care, said the Minister of Health of the Ulyanovsk Region Olesya Kolotik-Kameneva.
Also, 5 million rubles are allocated for the equipment of institutions providing assistance to patients with cardiovascular and oncological diseases within the framework of the national project "Healthcare." About 13 million rubles will be allocated to ensure the prevention of the development of cardiovascular diseases and complications in high-risk patients.
In addition, 20 million rubles were allocated from the budget of the Ulyanovsk region for the development of design estimates for the construction of a polyclinic in the South-West microdistrict of the Zasviyazhsky district of Ulyanovsk. 70 million rubles will be allocated to complete the construction of the children's infectious diseases building.
Also, 8.5 million rubles will be spent on the implementation of the sanitary aviation project. An additional 1.6 million rubles are provided for the provision of high-tech medical care to patients this year. More than 3 million rubles have been allocated for measures to prevent and combat socially significant infectious diseases. Funds are also provided for the development of digitalization of healthcare, immunoprophylaxis, the purchase of medicines and medical devices.[2]
