Ex-deputy head of the Ulyanovsk Ministry of Health sentenced to a year of restriction of freedom for forging a military ticket and labor

At the end of November 2022, the Leninsky District Court of Ulyanovsk sentenced the former Deputy Minister of Health of the Ulyanovsk Region Andrei Dadianov to one year of restriction of liberty with deprivation of the right to hold positions in state and local governments. Read more here.

Andrei Dadianov became a defendant in three criminal cases

On August 11, 2022, the Prosecutor's Office of the Ulyanovsk Region announced the initiation of three criminal cases against the former deputy head of the Ministry of Health of the Ulyanovsk Region Andrei Dadianov:

• under Part 1 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code (fraud);
• Part 5 of Art. 327 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (use of a deliberately forged official document);

Ex-head of the Ulyanovsk Ministry of Health canceled the verdict in the case of fraud in public procurement

At the end of November 2021, the Sixth Cassation Court of General Jurisdiction in Samara overturned the verdict of the former Minister of Health of the Ulyanovsk Region Rashid Abdullov. He was accused of corruption and misappropriation of budget funds allocated for the purchase of oxygen and medical devices for medical institutions. Read more here.

Ex-ministers of the Ulyanovsk Ministry of Health were sentenced for fraud in the purchase of medical oxygen

On January 21, 2021, the Leninsky District Court of Ulyanovsk sentenced in a high-profile criminal case, the defendants of which are the former general director of Ulyanovskfarmatsiya JSC Olga Kuznetsova, her deputy Yevgeny Kogan, regional health ministers Pavel Degtyar and Rashid Abdullov, as well as the former vice-speaker of the regional legislative assembly and chairman of the social policy committee, ex-deputy secretary of the United Russia regional department Igor Tikhonov. All of them are accused of fraud in the procurement of medical goods for the needs of healthcare (part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, up to 10 years in prison).
