At the same time, there is a restoration of purchasing activity, which indicates a positive dynamics of market development, the newspaper says.

According to Infoline Analytics, Golden Apple was among the three largest sellers of cosmetics and household chemicals in Russia in 2023. The company lost only to the Magnit Cosmetics and Lethal chains.

In 2023, Golden Apple was also engaged in the development of foreign markets. According to Mikhail Burmistrov, head of Infoline Analytics, one of the reasons for the expansion is the desire to build new logistics chains within the framework of direct and parallel import schemes. Under the conditions of sanctions, it is especially important for retailers to expand the range and establish direct contacts with foreign manufacturers, the expert explains.[2]

2025

Investing 4 billion rubles in a plant in Russia

In September 2025, the Golden Apple perfume and cosmetic retailer announced that it was negotiating the purchase of a factory for the production of cosmetics. The network considers sites in the Moscow region and in the Urals. Investments in the project will amount to 4 billion rubles. It is assumed that the enterprise will enter production facilities in 2027-2030. Capacity was required to produce products under the own brand name For Me and develop contract[3]

"Golden Apple" opens a distribution center in the suburbs. The company announced this on July 25, 2025.

A warehouse with an area of ​ ​ 47 thousand square meters. m in the Istra region will provide more than 600 new jobs and increase the logistics capacity of the Golden Apple in the Central Region of Russia.

Warehouse equipment and storage capacity will help process more than 100 million units of products per year. Expanding logistics resources in the Central Federal District will help the company meet the growing demand for beauty and health products, as well as replenish the range of its stores in a timely manner: by mid-2025, 38 stores operate in Russia, of which 14 are in Moscow. New stores open almost annually - the last was an Apple Box store on Khoroshevskoe Shosse in April 2025.

By the summer of 2025, the total staff of the Golden Apple exceeded 14 thousand people, about 2,100 of whom are employees of distribution centers.

In total, Zolotoy Yabloko has 12 warehouses throughout Russia - both in its own management and according to the 3PL model. The geographical distribution of warehouse complexes allows the company to provide stores with inventory located in 20 cities of the country (from Sochi to Khabarovsk), as well as deliver online orders to any settlement throughout the Russian Federation.

The Golden Apple warehouse is located in the Landmark-West industrial park in the Istra district of the Moscow region. The developer of the complex is GC "Landmark." The construction of the facility was carried out taking into account all the needs of the Golden Apple for the storage, sorting and transportation of perfume and cosmetic products.
