2018: Telemedicine for employees
Since 2018, more than 1000 people - employees of the federal and regional divisions' 220 volts' and their families - will be able to receive free diagnosis and advice from leading doctors in the country - therapists, pediatricians, cardiologists, neurologists, allergologists and other specialists. The project is the first such experience in Russian retail, implemented with the help of the IRI Medical Projects Fund.
According to statistics, 40% of complaints today do not require a full-time visit to a medical institution. Telemedicine is the possibility of receiving video advice from a medical practitioner without a full-time visit to clinics - the patient visits LPU only when it is really necessary.
The introduction of telemedicine systems is becoming an increasingly common practice both in the west and in Russia, having a number of undeniable advantages: receiving consultations from doctors without leaving home or office; selection of a physician based on questionnaire data without reference to a particular clinic; the low cost of consultation; urgent communication with a doctor within three minutes.
'The project is especially relevant for management at all levels, since for such people a full-fledged work process without wasting time is very important. The use of telemedicine will also be a real rescue for employees of remote regions, giving them the opportunity, without leaving the city, to communicate with leading doctors of the Russian Federation and get the 'second opinion' of professionals. Thanks to the implementation of the project, we hope to reduce the average length of sick leave from 9 to 4 days, significantly increase labor productivity and increase the loyalty of our employees, "said Shishkina Oksana, HR Director of 220 Volt Group of Companies.
