History

2020: Passing of audit of GSMA SAS-SM and start of provision of services on management of the eSIM profiles

On August 10, 2020 Sistems A1 company announced passing of primary audit (dry audit) of GSMA SAS-SM (Security Accreditation Scheme – Subscription Management) and the beginning of commercial provision of services on management of the eSIM profiles. The certificate on passing of audit is available on the website of GSMA.

The eSIM technology removes a physical entity of SIM cards for the mobile operator. The digital eSIM profile contains all necessary settings, applets and security keys. A profile it is possible far off (over-the-air, "by air") to install on any eUICC chip (embedded UICC) supporting the GSMA specifications which develop eSIM technology.

A set of the solutions RSP (Remote SIM Provisioning) developed by A1 Sistems are intended for work with consumer electronics and for loading and management of eSIM-profiles on M2M devices.

The equipment on which the complex of the solutions remote SIM provisioning is placed is located in Russia, in one of the Moscow DPCs.

Creation and certification of eSIM of the platform is a logical and necessary development of our business. The project was difficult, but very interesting. We became the company which independently developed SM-DP+, SM-DP and SM-SR, deployed the equipment in the protected DPC and underwent audit of GSMA SAS-SM.
